GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Dahlia and Thyme Studio Florist will make every effort to make sure your blooms arrive in the freshest possible condition.  Please read the terms and Conditions of our delivery service and reach out should you have any questions.

DELIVERY TIMES

Dahlia and Thyme Studio Florals offers a delivery service of perishable goods. Delivery times cannot always be guaranteed, especially during peak and busy times. Should you have a specific time preference (AM/PM) please be sure to add this in order section or in " notes" at check out. Dahlia and Thyme Studio Florist cannot guarantee same day delivery but will endeavour to process your order/orders in a timely manner. We will make every effort to ensure your goods arrive as fresh as possible and on time every time.

DELIVERY/SHIPPING ADDRESS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
 

It is the obligation and responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that the recipient's FULL name and FULL delivery address are correct. If  you provide us with an incorrect address and we deliver your goods as per your instructions, as confirmed prior to delivery, this will result in all goods being returned to Dahlia and Thyme Studio Florist.  Dahlia and Thyme Studio Florist accepts NO responsibility, the purchaser shall incur an additional redelivery fee. Replacement or redelivery of goods that have been stolen will be made at the discretion of Dahlia and Thyme Studio Florist.

IF NO ONE IS HOME

If no-one is at the specified address to accept the goods Dahlia and Thyme shall leave the goods in a safe place and take a photograph. The image shall be sent via email/or text message to the purchaser along with the date and time of the delivery.  If there is no  safe place to leave the delivery, out of the direct sun or due to fencing, locked gates, unrestrained dogs/livestock etc.... or incorrect/insufficient information we shall try to contact the purchaser and the recipient. If we are not able to make contact we shall return the goods to our studio. Once we contact the purchaser a redelivery fee is payable and the goods will be redelivered at an agreeable date and time between Dahlia and Thyme and the purchaser. 

DELIVERY TIMES /BUSINESS ADDRESS

Delivery times cannot always be guaranteed, especially during peak or busy times. If you should have any special requests, for example 'they leave work by 4pm', please be sure to include shift start/finish times and department name, e.g. School office, hospital, and reception area's. Please add this in order notes or at check out.  Dahlia and Thyme accepts no responsibility for goods accepted by the front desk, reception, concierge, or security personnel . Upon delivery, the name of any personnel who accept goods on behalf of the recipient shall be recorded for Dahlia and Thyme's records.

DELIVERY TO APARTMENTS

Dahlia and Thyme will contact the recipient to ensure they are home before delivery. Should we not be able to contact the recipient, we will contact the purchaser and wait for delivery instructions.(Please refer to delivery shipping address/and if no one is home.)

ALCOHOL POLICY

By law alcohol cannot be delivered to a person under 18 years of age, or left unattended. Should no-one over the age of 18 years be at the address, the order will be returned to our studio. If a redelivery is required a redelivery fee will apply. The goods will be redelivered to the recipient at a time and date agreeable between Dahlia and Thyme and the purchaser.

FRESH/ PERISHABLE GOODS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Products on this page are perishable, natural items and the life span of flowers is dependent on species, resulting in some varieties lasting longer than others. Our flowers are bought from the market and where possible, to order requirements. The flowers used in each design may differ to those on our website. We may need to substitute items due to seasonal availability. Flowers are a product of nature, and as such not all goods may be exactly as pictured on our website. By accepting these terms and conditions you are acknowledging that there may be discrepancies between images and produced goods.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS  POLICY

Dahlia and Thyme handles returns and processes refunds in accordance with the Australian Consumer Protection legislation. Dahlia and Thyme must be notified and contacted by emailing at dahliathymeflorist@gmail.com within 3 days of purchase. Dahlia and Thyme will not accept returns based on change of mind or design. In cases of flowers perishing within 3 days of purchase and all care instructions have been followed (a care card is provided with every arrangement and care instructions can also be found online.) Or in the event Dahlia and Thyme produced incorrect goods, Dahlia and Thyme will provide a gift certificate or replacement to the purchase value of the original purchase price. Dahlia and Thyme reserve the right to request images and collection of the original arrangement so we can investigate what went wrong.  Replacement flowers will not be sent in the event the original goods have been disposed of  and images have not been produced.

CARD MESSAGE

It is the purchasers responsibility to ensure their personalised message to the recipient is written to their satisfaction. Dahlia and Thyme accepts no responsibility for incorrect spelling and or grammar.

CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

Should you need to cancel your order notice must be received by email no later than 24hrs prior to delivery at dahliathymeflorist@gmail.com.  Monies will be refunded to the original tender less a $15.00 admin fee if within the 24hr cancellation period.

Dahlia and Thyme will confirm delivery of your goods via email dahliathymeflorist@gmail.com.  Please note if you have not received an email confirmation, your order has not been processed.
